How do you make time fly?

Why must time go by the fastest when you don't want it to, but go by uber slow when you want it to just hurry up and get to a certain time? I just wish for time to hurry up and let me leave for home already. I can go swimming once i get home. I love swimming during hot (HOT!) summer Phoenix days, and I am always especially eager to swim in a pool with really nice cool water after I have had to wait for the bus and then walk home from the bus stop while it is over 100 degrees fahrenheit. At least the heat doesn't last forever...
